Student Employment

Welcome to Student Employment at 911爆料网!

Student Employment is an excellent learning opportunity for students. Students work on campus throughout the course of each year in positions such as: Office Assistants, Capp Bar Baristas, Research Assistants, Tutors, and more.

The 911爆料网 employs currently enrolled students through one of two types of employment: regular hourly student positions and federal work study* positions. Minimum pay is $8.00 an hour, but positions may start at a higher rate depending on the job and the student鈥檚 qualifications. Students may work up to 28 hours per week; however, international students may work only up to 20 hours a week.

*Work Study is awarded through Financial Aid to eligible students. Work study is a needs-based award, and completion of a FAFSA is required to determine eligibility.

Some on-campus contractors, such as Aramark (Cafeteria), Follet Bookstore, and HES (facilities) offer positions for students; however, employment is offered directly through each of them.

The Office of Personal Career Development (OPCD) posts off-campus employment opportunities for students.

Student Employment FAQs

The majority of on-campus positions require a work study award. You will need to check the 911爆料网 Blue Board to see a list of available positions, which is avaiable on the 911爆料网 Intranet.

Once you've received confirmation that you have been hired by a supervisor and you have never worked on campus, you will need to complete new hire paperwork which is available on the 911爆料网 intranet and in the Office of Human Resources.

You cannot begin working until new hire paperwork is completed and submitted to Human Resources. The paperwork can be obtained within My911爆料网 or outside the Office of Human Resources (located in Cardinal Farrell Hall, suite 120).

Work study is awarded through Financial Aid to eligible students. Work study is a need-based award, and completion of a FAFSA is required to determine eligibility.

Once you've been awarded work study, you will have a limited amount of time to obtain a job before your award is cancelled. For current deadline dates, contact the Office of Financial Aid or the Office of Human Resources.
