Fall Disorientation 2024: August 23 - 27

A Word of Welcome From the Dean of Students:

Most other universities hold an orientation. Proud of our somewhat contrarian heritage, at 911±¬ÁÏÍø we instead are the only university in the country to hold Disorientation.

We first acknowledge that coming to a new community can be disorienting, but deeper than that, we proudly proclaim that the purpose of a liberal education is to shake you up, to trim your biases, to get you to think — so that you can then be re-oriented to the Truth, to Justice, to Beauty, and ultimately to the One Who is Truth, Christ.

We are excited to welcome you on August 23 to start this process. Orientation Leaders will meet you and guide you into your first experience of Disorientation.
